And the cold weather begins again...

Damn the cold weather has started up already. My hands, which have been pretty good this summer, were quite stiff. My left hip is not doing to well these past few days either. Poop. I need to move somewhere warmer.

Time to start planning holiday knits!

I think it's time to start figuring out what my holiday knit gifts are going to be so I can get a plan going!

Pattern Writing

I've been working on my first few patterns & so far so good. The scarf looked great, but I couldn't deal with the curling so it's getting an edge, it's in the will work on soon pile & I've 2 test knitters lined up for it. The sock is doing great, working the heel flap now & can't wait to see if the top of the foot will knit up like it looks in my head. The cowl is looking good so far, decided to change a few things, I only hope it gets done by tomorrow night when I need it as a gift. I'm about 1/3 of the way right now & just started writing & knitting it yesterday.

Sock Knitting

So I learned to knit this spring & am knitting socks. I have taken to it big time & do find it passes the time nicely. It's nice because I can do it while I'm sitting, which is how I spend the bulk of my day since my knees are shot. I have this post week tried to write 3 patterns, failed at one pattern, another is looking promising & the would be awesome if I could just work out a few kinks with it.
